I am Stephandre. I sell for a living, and this is where I write about it.
Most of what gets published about selling is built for the quarter — the hack, the script, the clever line that closes today. Very little of it is built for the decade. This is where I keep the other kind of material: what has proven true across years of real conversations with real buyers, most of whom were in no hurry and could smell a technique from across the room.
What I write about
The craft of selling. Discovery, follow-up, objections, and the unglamorous daily activity that separates the people who hit the number from the people who explain it. Field notes, not theory.
The patience of building. I build in the margins around a full-time role. What I have learned about moving slowly and deliberately, without setting fire to the thing that pays the bills.
The well-lived life. The disciplines underneath both — the ones that compound quietly and rarely make for good content.
How I write here
No hustle theatre. No posts engineered for an algorithm. I publish when I have something worth your time, which is less often than any growth strategy would advise. If a piece here saves you a bad quarter, or talks you out of a shortcut, it has done its work.
Consider this a quiet corner of the internet: part journal, part field notes from the work of becoming someone worth doing business with.
